Wealth — Your Abundant Life
Door Two · Wealth

Your Abundant Life.

Not hustle. Not excess. Purpose. Creativity. Joy. Built around your beautiful brain.

What wealth actually means

La dolce vita is not a reward.
It's a decision.

Most people spend their whole lives waiting for permission to live beautifully. I'm not interested in waiting. Wealth isn't the number in the bank — it's waking up and doing work that lights you up, in a life that actually fits you. Here's what I've found. Here's what works. Start wherever you are.

Your Purpose
Work Smarter

Your Current Resources Are Worth More Than You Think.

Your Brain
Free. Available 24 hours a day. Completely underused by most people. The single most powerful wealth-generating tool in existence is the one sitting between your ears and you've been letting it idle on anxiety and Netflix. Programme it deliberately. Read the books. Take the course. Feed it problems worth solving and it will work on them while you sleep — this is not metaphor, this is neuroscience. Think and Grow Rich was written in 1937 and it's still true: what you hold in your mind long enough, consistently enough, you will begin to move toward. Your brain is looking for evidence of whatever story you've told it. Tell it a better story.

Your Phone
That rectangle in your pocket is a content studio, a trading terminal, a coding environment and a business headquarters. You can film, edit and publish content. You can trade forex, crypto and equities. You can play Web3 games that pay real money. You can use AI to build a website from your kitchen table without knowing a single line of code. The people who treat their phones as consumption devices will be exactly where they are in five years. The people who flip it to a creation device will not. Same phone. Different intention.
In your pocket right now
The Earth
Genuinely free. Seeds cost almost nothing and a packet produces more than you can eat. Grow food and you've cut your grocery bill. Grow herbs and you've cut your medicine cabinet bill. Grow decorative plants and you've built something to sell at the market, propagate endlessly, or give away as currency of goodwill. The earth does most of the work — you just have to start it and not abandon it. A garden is the original passive income. It compounds every season. You don't hustle a garden. You tend it.
Free · Compounds every season
Positive Thinking (the Real Kind)
Not the toxic positivity kind. Not pretending problems aren't real. The structural kind — training your brain to scan for opportunity the way it currently scans for threat. Your reticular activating system filters out most of what you see. It shows you what it's been told to look for. Tell it to look for niche markets in your area. Tell it to look for problems nobody's solving. Tell it to look for the gap. It will find it. Most people spend zero minutes doing this deliberately and then wonder why nothing seems to open up. Start seeing. Then keep seeing.
Free · Requires practice
Your People
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with — you've heard this. What you maybe haven't done is taken it seriously enough to actually audit the room. The right people don't have to be rich or famous. They need to be moving. Curious. Building something. They lead you to people you'd never have found alone. They casually mention opportunities that change your trajectory. And critically — don't be too proud to ask for advice. The people who've done what you want to do love being asked how. Most of them will tell you everything. Ask the question. Lose the ego.
Already around you
Where You Are
Your location is not a limitation — it's a niche. What does your town have that the internet doesn't know about yet? What does your region grow, make, or do differently? Every place has a story that hasn't been properly told online, and the person closest to it is sitting inside it wondering if it's interesting enough. It is. The gap between "what I know" and "what the internet knows about this place" is a content business, a tourism business, a food business, a craft business waiting to be claimed. Use what you have. Do what you can. Start now, not when conditions are perfect.
Undervalued · Right here

The whole point: use what you have, do what you can, and do it now. Not when you have more money. Not when you have more time. Not when the kids are older or the market is better or the stars align. The resources you need to start are already yours — your brain, your phone, your hands, your location, your people, your specific obsessive knowledge of the thing nobody else cares about as much as you do. That last one especially. That's your business.

Your Internet Space

A presence on the internet is a wealth vehicle.

Books that changed things for me.

Héctor García & Francesc Miralles
This is the book that gave me language for something I'd been feeling for years. The Japanese concept of ikigai — your reason for being — isn't grand or dramatic. It lives in small, daily things. It stopped me chasing a destination and helped me build a life instead.

Gay Hendricks
The concept of the "Upper Limit Problem" — the way we sabotage ourselves just as things start going well — was like reading my own diary. Every time I got close to something good, I'd find a way to mess it up. This book named the pattern. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Jen Sincero
Loud. Funny. Zero fluff. What it changed for me: I stopped treating money like something shameful I was supposed to be politely indifferent to. It's energy. You can call it in. Practical and woo in equal measure — somehow it works.

Make It Pay

The landscape of income has never been this interesting.

Be a creator. Not a consumer.
Do you walk dogs? Film the dogs. Build a story around them. You're not a dog walker — you're a creator who happens to walk dogs. Do you make things with your hands? Make tutorials. Your craft is the product, but your knowledge is the business. Every skill, every hobby, every obsession has a monetisable angle if you're willing to document it. The internet has made it possible to build an audience around the strangest, most specific things imaginable — and specificity is exactly what wins. The niches that feel too small are the ones nobody else bothered with. That's the gap. That's where you go.
Notion Templates
Build a system you use yourself, productise it, sell it on Gumroad or Etsy. A good template sells while you sleep. Low effort to make, no inventory, no shipping.
Passive · Low barrier
Suits: introverts · ADHD brains · systems thinkers · anyone who already makes things for themselves first
AI-Built Websites & Apps
The barrier to building software is gone. Use Claude or Cursor to build tools, micro-SaaS products or client websites without a CS degree. Charge for the outcome, not the code.
High potential · Low code
Suits: problem solvers · ADHD hyperfocusers · people who hate being told something can't be done
Vlogging Strange Topics
The niche nobody bothered with is the one that wins. Byzantine history. Competitive dog grooming. Restoring vintage typewriters. YouTube rewards consistency and specificity — not celebrity.
Long game · High reward
Suits: obsessives · the person who already talks too much about one thing · extroverts · comfortable introverts on camera
Trading
Not a casino — a skill. Forex, crypto, equities, options. Learn one market, paper-trade it for six months before risking a cent. The people who lose are the ones who skip that step.
High risk · High reward
Suits: mathematically inclined · data-driven thinkers · people who can detach emotionally from money
Etsy Stores
Physical makes, digital downloads, print-on-demand. Etsy has a built-in audience looking for exactly the specific thing you make. If you make anything by hand, you should have a shop.
Creative · Scalable
Suits: makers · crafters · visual thinkers · introverts who'd rather let the product sell itself
Relocate Your Life
Move to where you want to be, then figure out the work — not the other way round. A lower cost of living changes what you have to earn. A beautiful environment changes what you're willing to do.
Life design · Bold move
Suits: untethered · remote workers · anyone whose income is already location-independent or soon will be
Shift Work to Fund Your Passion
Three shifts a week pays the bills. Four days free pays for your actual life. Nursing, hospitality, security, logistics — shift work is high hourly rate, clean edges, and no emails after hours. Use the white space intentionally.
Practical · Underrated
Suits: ADHD brains who need hard time boundaries · people who build better in long focused blocks · anyone who needs clean edges
Affiliate Marketing
Recommend things you'd recommend anyway and earn when people buy. The honest version — you write about what you love, link to it, never pretend. That's this whole site. It works.
Passive · Honest
Suits: natural recommenders · writers · bloggers · anyone with an existing audience even a small one
How Affiliate Marketing Actually Works
You write about something real. You link to it. Someone buys it. You earn a percentage. No inventory, no customer service, no shipping. The networks below are where most programmes live — apply once, access hundreds of brands.
AWIN
The biggest affiliate network in the world. Brands like Etsy, Booking.com, Under Armour and thousands more. One application, one dashboard, one payment. This is where I started and where most of the links on this site come from.
Commission: varies by brand · Payment: monthly · £5 deposit refunded on first sale
Join AWIN →
Partnerize
Premium brands — luxury travel, fashion, lifestyle. Smaller network than AWIN but higher-end. Good if your audience is aspirational. Plum Guide, OneFineStay and similar live here.
Commission: varies · Payment: monthly · Approval required per brand
Join Partnerize →
Amazon Associates
Low commission (1–4%) but extraordinary conversion because everyone already has an account. Best for books, gear, tools. Add it to everything. Even tiny commissions add up at volume.
Commission: 1–4% · Payment: 60 days after month end · Easy approval
Join Associates →
Rakuten Advertising
Strong in travel and retail. GetMyBoat, Sephora, New Balance live here. Worth applying to once you have content to show. Quality over quantity with Rakuten — they're selective.
Commission: varies · Payment: monthly · Application reviewed manually
Join Rakuten →
One honest note: affiliate income takes time to compound. Month one will feel pointless. Month twelve feels different. Write about what you genuinely love, link to things you'd genuinely buy, and never recommend something for the commission. People feel the difference — and so do you.
